garden party

he had a feeling
of being out of touch lately
nothing new
was coming into his head
and a lack of communication
hovered over his head
his heart
and his soul
"I must get out" he said
as he gestured
to the far corner of the sky
as an artist
it was his job to imitate
when things weren't right
and he realized
the fight he had on his hands

garden party continued part 2

he went to the sculpture people
and told them about it
he needed to get some sleep
and celebration was the furthest thing on his mind
little did he know
the garden party
was about to rescue him
garden party continued part 3

the sea
taught the artist people much
that the land
was the place
for the garden party
and that space
might go on forever
larger than the ocean
the celebration day
was about this...
of picking a day
in the middle of harvest
and the summer
and to celebrate
creativity
and a good will ambiance
garden party continued part 4

the garden party people
would have to
select the sculptures and artists
they would have to make
and bring the sculpture
and they would need
a good amount of inspiration
to do so
and to cherish a reason
and cause
for their lives
once together
they began to gain focus
garden party continued part 5

the sculptor who lead
the artist people
had an idea
of when he was younger
maybe eight or nine
when he would visit
an automobile junk and scrap yard
in the country side
two farms over
the scrap yard was not a money maker
small and rural
of old beat up automobiles from the 1940s
some post world-war-two stuff
no honda or jetta yet
and in this junk yard
weeds would grow higher than his head
and for this young lad
these rusting mechanical carcasses
became his first stonehenge
and markers of sort
he didn't know what stonehenge was
but in this scrap yard
something would make a mark on him
and make him think
and wonder who he was
and when going
to his one room country school house
he would begin to draw naked girls
on the other boys arms
to gain fame

to be continued...
